DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A SLEEPOVER?

We LOVE snuggle parties and we are experts at making extra comfy beds for our furry friends! At Wag Club, your dog will feel right at home whether you are away for a day or even a week. All of our pups sleep in their own spacious and sanitized kennels (kennels can be viewed in our Highlights Section on Instagram). We make sure they always have fresh and full water, as well as meals and meds as directed. When not sleeping, they are out and about in the daycare partying with their friends. Daycare is included in the cost of the Overnight stay. There are no humans who stay overnight with the pups, but we've got staff who live a block away and cameras that will alert us to anything out of the ordinary. Your dog will have a nice balance of playtime with other pups, rest and oodles of love and attention from the Wag Club family (humans and otherwise).  You'll be able to relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

  • Food for the duration of their stay. Please be sure to let us know how much and how often, and/or if they have any allergies.

  • Any medications with written (or emailed) instructions of how and when to administer. Please note that there is a $1.50 surcharge per administration.

  • Treats if they've got their favorite kind. We always have limited ingredient treats on hand, though! Not to worry.

  • Some of our Overnight Guests like to bring a washable bed, blanket or toy that smells like them and will make them feel at home. These will stay in their kennel for the duration of their stay. We've got some sneaky toy and bed thief's, and we want to be sure everyone leaves with what they came in with! We always have clean blankets and beds available, though - so if you want to pack lightly - we've got your back!

  • Bowls aren't necessary unless you've got a super particular pup! We always have plenty on hand, and in all shapes and sizes.

  • Chews and bones are welcome, but will not be left in their kennel with them overnight or when unattended for safety precautions.

  • Collars, leashes, harnesses - whatever they use on their usual walk. Pups are always naked both in the daycare and in the kennels for safety.

OVERNIGHT PRE-REQUISITES:

TO BEGIN:

  1. Fill out Daycare Registration Form and send to info@wagclubny.com. Registration Form can be found under our Registration Tab. Please also include Vaccination Certificate from Vet with everything listed under #3 (above).

  2. Schedule an Overnight Temperament Test ($37.50 + tax). Once we have received both your Registration Form, as well as your Vaccination Certificate, we will email or call you to schedule an appointment once your application is approved.  This test gives us the opportunity to get to know your dog, and see how comfortable they are in a kennel setting.  Temp tests are for a 24 hour period, take place on Thursday evenings and are subject to availability. If your pet seems uncomfortable or is not right for Wag Club, we will let you know upon pick up.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We LOVE big dogs! But - due to space limitations - we can only accept new dogs under 30 lbs for Overnight Boarding. Big dogs just need more space. We are always happy to offer suggestions and other options, so please feel free to inquire! We love supporting our local dog daycare community.

  • Ideally overnight stays last from one to seven nights.  For longer stays, we recommend outdoor camps like Eva’s Play Pups and Town & Country or in-home boarding/pet sitting. Generally, for short Overnight stays, we don't take the pups out of the building for potty breaks unless otherwise requested. If they are here for a longer stay, of course we will will always take them out for fresh air.

  • Interested in in-home boarding with Wag Club? Wag Club staff can sometimes be available for at-home stays, but are subject to availability. Please email info@wagclubny.com for more information.
